GAUNTLET AI – APPLICATION PRIVACY NOTICE

What Information We Collect

When you apply to Gauntlet AI's training program, we collect:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, location (city/state)
• Professional Background: Resume, work history, education credentials, LinkedIn profile
• Assessment Data: Cognitive assessment results, scores, and performance metrics
• Application Materials: Responses to application questions, portfolio submissions, and any other information you provide during the evaluation process

We do not collect biometric data, health information, or social security numbers during the application stage.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Evaluate your application for admission to our training program
• Communicate with you about your application status and program details
• Send marketing communications about future cohorts, program updates, and Gauntlet AI news (only if you opt in)
• Improve our selection process through aggregated, de-identified analysis

We process your information based on your consent and our legitimate business interests in identifying and training exceptional AI-first engineering talent.

Information Sharing

During Application: We do not share your application information with third parties, including our Hiring Partners.

After Acceptance: If you are accepted and sign our Challenger Agreement, we may share your information with Hiring Partners as part of the placement process. This sharing is governed by the separate Challenger Agreement, not this Privacy Notice.

Service Providers: We use trusted vendors for application processing, email delivery, and data storage. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for services provided to Gauntlet AI.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

Accepted Challengers: We retain your information indefinitely to support alumni relations, placement verification, and program testimonials

Rejected Applicants: We retain your information for 24 months to consider you for future cohorts and improve our selection process. After 24 months, your data is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion or opt in to ongoing communications

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
• Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Non-Discrimination: Exercise your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment

To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@gauntletai.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.

Marketing Communications

If you opt in to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or contacting us at privacy@gauntletai.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications related to your active application.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Updates to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our application system after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
