What does this role do?
Partner with the Gauntlet AI Marketing team (and others as needed) to build a
complete portfolio of what success at Gauntlet AI looks like. Day to day, that
breaks down into five things:
Identify storylines
Help us find the iconic storylines that become the basis of our content
library: alumni advancing their careers, challengers who have done exceptional
work, hiring partners sharing real outcomes. Every story is grounded in a
before and after so people can feel the change.
Longer arcs could include a "lifecycle of a challenger" — pick roughly 5
strong challengers per cohort and follow them with interviews across the 10
weeks.
Complete our portfolio
Each week, fill gaps in our video library with intention, based on what is
happening in and around the office, and always with a focus on the highest
priority needs first.
Demonstrate thought leadership
Work with individuals, such as CTO Ash Tilawat, to capture their thoughts on
the changing AI landscape and how they are driving innovation in the space.
Capture serendipity
Beyond the plan, create content in the spur of the moment: a late night
working session, a team brainstorm that leads somewhere, a group tackling a
big problem.
Edit for distribution
Package captured content into usable assets, an interview, Demo Day, or any
other library material, ready for the go-to-market team to use.
1+ hour
of usable, edited footage delivered on average every week. Not every week is
equal, but that is the bar.
What we're looking for
-
Excellent interview skills. You are the one
with the microphone. Putting subjects at ease, coaxing great lines, and digging
deeper in the moment are critical to the role.
-
Your own kit. High quality video equipment and
editing software that produces usable output.
-
Fully independent. Show up, film the identified
storyline, and turn it into finished content on your own.
-
Fast, organized turnaround. Deliver finished
cuts to a shared Drive folder quickly, with rush delivery within 12 to 24 hours
for time-sensitive moments.
-
Comfortable with an intense pace. We will build
a structured capture schedule together, but expect sporadic, high-intensity
stretches (event days, hiring-partner visits, cohort milestones) that are hard
to anticipate, with room to scale down between them.
-
Genuine curiosity and people skills. The
ability to make busy, high-status guests comfortable enough to give a great
on-camera moment in minutes.
-
A feel for the audience. You get that we are
speaking to software engineers and corporate partners, so content emphasizes
builder credibility, what people actually accomplished, and the caliber of
people in the room.
-
Media Day support. Help run Media Day each
cohort when needed (headshots, hiring-partner interviews). We have a playbook
and will hand the process over to you.
